I’m using this article in my essay, mainly for the images and the official statements released. It is the controversial Lara Stone billboard for Calvin Klein which was banned for being ‘suggestive of violence and rape’. This works well in my essay as I am investigating the effect of porn on the fashion industry.

ATTWOOD, F. (2005). Fashion and passion: marketing sex to women. Available: http://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/99888.pdf. Last accessed 20/08/2015.
This is a dissertation looking at the ways women are addressed as sexual consumers, and the changes we have seen in this over the last few years. It discusses, lingerie, sex toys and masturbation. This works well with my essay as I am mainly looking at the effects of porn and fashion on women.

Dines, G. (2014). Stop Porn Culture: Those who watch modern porn are becoming increasingly desensitised. Available: http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/stop-porn-culture-those-who-watch-modern-porn-are-becoming-increasingly-desensitised-9195395.html. Last accessed 10/07/2015.
This is a review of a leacture Gail Dines had done at a number of universities mainly in America discussing the negative effects of porn on young women, and men and the porn industry. This is useful as it points out negative points I may not have previously thought about it. It also gives me some references to the feminist perspective of my topic.

Drum, K. (2014). Rape Is Way Down Over the Past Two Decades — But So Is All Violent Crime. Available: http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2014/12/rape-way-down-over-past-two-decades-%E2%80%94-so-all-violent-crime. Last accessed 15/01/2016.
I have chosen to reference this article in my ‘safe porn’ section of my essay, as it shows valid rape statistics which I can discuss and try and see if there is a correlation between my findings and the current statstistics.

Elgot, J. (2014). Extreme Porn Law Must Be Put Back On Agenda, 'Stop Porn Culture' Conference Hears. Available: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/03/15/stop-porn-culture_n_4970455.html. Last accessed 10/07/2015.
This is an article on banning ‘extreme’ porn and trying to stop porn culture, this is valuable to my research as it shows passionate views about my topic and images and quotations I can include in my essay.

Freeman, H. (2011). The reason there's so much sex in fashion adverts . . . . Available: http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2011/apr/17/sex-sells-fashion-advertising-hadley-freeman. Last accessed 20/01/2016.
This article is a discussion on the idea that ‘sex sells’ this I can use to support that side of my discussion in my essay. Sex sells which is why brands use porn culture as a selling technique. I will use this to reference in my advertising section of my essay.

Mikula, V A. (2015). Sexual Aggression: The Dark Side of Fashion Photography. Available: http://www.hercampus.com/school/point-park/sexual-aggression-dark-side-fashion-photography. Last accessed 20/08/2015.
In this article there are numerous shocking sexual fashion photographs. This will help me in my ‘aggressive sex ad’ section. I will use this to reference quotes and images. Its particularly useful as it provides interesting information and facts regarding each image.

Murphy, M. (2015). Russell Brand weighs in on 50 Shades of Grey and the mainstreaming of porn. Available: http://feministcurrent.com/10887/russell-brand-weighs-in-on-50-shades-of-grey-and-the-mainstreaming-of-porn/. Last accessed 10/07/2015.
This is a review on a video blog Russel Brand uploaded discussing the issues with the book and film sensation ’50 Shades of Grey’ which essentially is porn for women. I will look and analyse the points and issues raised in this article and discuss and relate them to my research. Its particularly interesting to hear things from a male feminist perspective.

Roiphe, K. (2012). Working Women’s Fantasies. Available: http://europe.newsweek.com/working-womens-fantasies-63915. Last accessed 20/01/2016.
This article also links to the 50 shades points I will raise as it discusses average women and their ‘fantasies’. The damaging effects of erotica on women and couples and society. And the unrealistic expectations people now have of BDSM because of the book.

Rowntree, T. (2014). The Masturbation Movement. Available: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/tamsin-rowntree/female-sexuality-masturbation_b_4918991.html. Last accessed 15/01/2016.
I am using this article in my essay as it discusses female masturbation and the evolution of female sexuality in recent years. I will look as masturbation as female liberation and use this to balance my discussion.

Toth-Colombié, L. (unknown). From Fashion to Pornography : The Viewer Confronts Himself in Current Photography. Available: http://www.academia.edu/432249/From_Fashion_to_Pornography_The_Viewer_Confronts_Himself_in_Current_Photography. Last accessed 22/02/2016.
I am using this to reference information about the infamous Terry Richardson and his entrance into the fashion world, and how he has had a manjor influence on porn culture and porn-chic.

Hot Girls Wanted, 2015. [DVD] Jill Bauer, Ronna Gradus, Bloomington: Sundance.
This is a documentary on Netflix which follows young teenagers starting out in the porn industry. It shows how naïve, and impressionable some of the young women are and how they are perhaps sometimes taken advantage of. It also shows how some young girls love working in the porn industry. It highlights the risks, and advantages of working in the industry. It will be interesting to discuss in my essay.
